Positive and Negative Rational Numbers

If the numerator and denominator of a rational number are positive integers then such a rational number is called a positive rational number. So, 3/5, 2/7, 10/21 etc. are positive rational number.

If the numerator or denominator of a rational number is negative integer then such a rational number is called a positive rational number. So, -3/5, 2/(-7), -10/21 etc. are negative rational number.
