    • Transmitted through direct contact, inhaling or ingesting the pathogen


  • Symptoms
    • No prominent initial symptoms
    • Swollen affected area
    • Bleeding through body openings
    • Difficulty in breathing
    • Fever
    • Fatal & can cause death


  • Treatment
    • Completely treated if medication given at an early stage
    • Effective vaccine available
